Prescott RV Rentals |
If your RV rental brings you to central Arizona, you should consider stopping for a while in Prescott. Unlike many cities in the region Prescott was settled by people from the Midwest and New England. The city has maintained many of those original buildings giving Prescott a unique feel. Prescott is known for its golf courses. The city offers 108 holes of golf at both private and public courses. Prescott offers a number of different cultural activities throughout the year. Every June sees the Bluegrass festival. In June and July, it is time for Frontier Days. This festival pays tribute to the areas founders featuring arts, crafts and food. Prescott’s annual city fair is a huge street fair that has recently became a patriotic rally. The fair features a parade honoring service men and women and the city gives away food and drink. Prescott’s entertainment scene offers outstanding theater, concerts and art galleries. Prescott’s Courthouse Plaza (the center around which the town was built) teams with fantastic restaurants and quaint boutiques. In terms of outdoor recreation, Prescott has a lot to offer. The Prescott National Forest has five lakes and over 450 miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. Due to the mild climate, the forest can be enjoyed year round. |
