Litchfield Park RV Rentals |
If your RV rental is bringing you to Arizona, be sure to visit Litchfield Park. Voted “one of the 8 best places to live in Arizona” by "Phoenix Magazine" the City of Litchfield Park is a beautiful city of 4,500 residents located approximately 15 miles west of Phoenix. Litchfield Park was founded in 1916 out of a need for a domestic supply of Cotton fiber. The city soon became the headquarters for Goodyear Farms and took its name from Paul Litchfield, a Goodyear executive. Litchfield Park has numerous scenic attractions to tour in your Motor Home. Just West of Litchfield Park sits White Tanks Regional Park named for the natural rock water tanks once used by local Indians. The park is the location of many unusual rock carvings. To the South of Litchfield Park is Estrella Mountain Regional Park. This park features camping, horseback riding and picnic facilities as well as an 18-hole golf course. To complete a nature rounded RV trip, The Wildlife World Zoo is located four miles northwest of Litchfield Park. This zoo provides a natural habitat for many endangered animal species. The city of Litchfield park sponsors numerous cultural events including the Arts in the Park Concert series and the Spring Fine Art and Culinary Festival. |
